Applicants are invited to apply for access to Pawsey Supercomputing Centre infrastructure. This web site provides an application form which begins the process for application. For information about the Merit Allocation process and gaining access to Pawsey Supercomputing Centre supercomputers, please visit our documentation portal. If you require any assistance completing this application, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Who should complete this application?
Applications are submitted by Project Leaders on behalf of a project team. Typically Project Leaders will be research leaders within a scientific research group, laboratory, or community. Members of a project team are not required to complete a separate application, however they must agree to the Pawsey Supercomputing Centre conditions of use at https://support.pawsey.org.au/documentation/display/US/Conditions+of+Use to be given account access to a project.
The Project Leader is responsible for
- Completing the application contained within this web site
- Being the primary point of contact between the project team members and the Pawsey Supercomputer Centre
- Completing the project reports within 30 days at the end of the granting period
- Submitting requests to add/remove users to existing projects
- Management of data storage and sharing during and after the project
Applications will be evaluated by a panel including science and supercomputing experts, so please target your application to an audience with a generic scientific background. Do not assume they have deep knowledge of your application area. Please don't hesitate to contact email@example.com if you have any questions regarding this form.
Please note that the Pawsey Supercomputing Centre will administer the allocation on a best effort basis but cannot guarantee that approved projects will receive their full allocations. Project Leaders and team members need to manage the use of their allocation. Unused allocations do not roll over to the next allocation period.
